About HDL Works

Overview

HDL Works was founded after a management buyout of Translogic in May 2004. It is privately owned by its founder and employees. HDL Works develops and markets high-performance, intuitive tools for complex HDL design and FPGA / PCB verification across a wide spectrum of applications. All software products are available on PC running Microsoft Windows or Linux.

HDL Works products are sold both direct and through an extensive worldwide distribution network. HDL Works is headquartered in Ede, The Netherlands.

Products

EASE	Graphical HDL Design tool (block / state diagrams, truth tables and HDL code).
HDL Companion	The SWISS Army knife for every HDL Design Engineer
IO Checker	FPGA versus PCB pin assignment verification.
BoardTrace	Visualize connectivity between large components on a single board and verify the connections between various PCB's (backplanes, connectors and/or rear panels).
Scriptum	A (free) text editor focused at VHDL and Verilog.

Custom software development

HDL Works also performs custom software development for products related to ASIC / FPGA and PCB design. Our strong points are in parser development, Verilog & VHDL, TCL, XML, netlists, etc. Our off the shelf libraries in combination with custom software allow us to quickly develop solutions.
