EASE: Truth table editor

The truth table editor is a spreadsheet like editor useful for decoders and decision logic. The editor, in combination with a flexible and smart use of column headers, offers a compact visualization of the intended behavior. The table cells may contain references to constants, parameters, etc defined in other design parts. The table is translated into HDL using if/else or case statements in both synchronous and asynchronous style.

A column-fill wizard is available to generate data in various encoding styles (like binary, gray or one-hot), bit sizes and representations.
